Archival Research

 

GTI Environmental, LLC staff of professionals routinely perform archival research to identify high probability areas for cultural resources that facilitate our client's ability to plan their projects and demonstrate a "Good Faith Effort" for consultation with the local, state, and federal agencies. Our unique historic research experience and capabilities led to the National Park Service using our Historical Archival Research Report as an example of quality for their other vendors.

 

Fieldwork

 

Our staff members are qualified professional archaeologists and historians outlined in the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation. GTI's Principal Investigator is listed in the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA). Our company's professional staff have proven experience concurrently managing multiple state projects from intensive archaeological survey, national register testing, and data recovery/mitigation. GTI Environmental, LLC has management experience of interpreting and applying historic preservation regulations in methodology, field practices, and reporting. Our expertise ensures our clients of meeting agency standards and guidelines.

 

Reports

 

GTI Environmental LLC professional staff regularly prepare Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Statement documents for our clients. Our company's cultural resource background review, intensive archaeology survey, national register testing, and data recovery/mitigation reports meet the quality expected by agencies. We have a past history of agency acceptance of Draft Report as Final Report 98 percent of the time with minor to no revisions.

 

Curation

 

The State Historic Preservation Office through the Council of Texas Archaeologist's requested that our CEO participate in the development of Curation Standards and Guidelines for Texas. This experience has allowed our company to streamline its efficiency in analyzing, reporting, and preparing cultural material collections for curation and submission to certified facilities.
